Visually inspect for signs of damage.

Clean air filter.

Clean bottle and tube.

Check the leakage from wall socket in which flowmeter is

connected.
Check inlet O-ring, outer tube and plastic knob in good condition.

To get more accurate reading, make sure the flow is set with the
Flowmeter in vertical position and the inlet pressure is 400 kPa.
Verify that the float Ball is at the very bottom of the flow tube,
which means zero flow.
Varying inlet pressure, outlet resistance or variations in ambient
temperature from 0°C to +40°C may affect the accuracy of flowrate.
Inlet and outlet connection fittings are tight and in good condition

Replace the inlet O-ring

Read centre of float ball to get an accurate reading, which is rated in

l/min.
Check gas cylinder valve, regulator and flowmeter free from dust,
grease and oil. If grease or oil is present, asked the user to not use
the cylinder.
Slightly open and close the cylinder post valve to clean the dust from
the valve seat, and then re-close the valve
