-er Suffix এমন কাউেক বুঝােত পাের য কান িনিদ কাজ করেছ। যমন: Teach → Teacher.

Suffix যােগর সময় ায়ই মূল শে র spelling পিরবতন হেত পাের। িবেশষ কের যসকল শ ‘y’ ারা শষ হয় তােদর
শষ বণিটর েল suffix যােগ ‘i’ বেস।

Example: Crazy → Craziness

একইভােব, য সকল শে র শেষ silent ‘e’ থােক, অেনক ে ই suffix যােগ সসকল শে র পিরবতন হয়।

Example: Write → Writing

তেব িকছু িবেশষ ে e রেখ দওয়া হয়। Example: change → changeable, love → loveable.”
