NATIONAL SCIENCE CLUB MONTH CELEBRATION CONVENTION

AND SEMINAR-WORKSHOP OF THE SCIENCE CLUB ADVISERS
ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES INC.

The Science Club Advisers Association of the Philippines (SCAAP) Inc. will
conduct the National Science Club Month (NSCM) Celebration Convention and Seminar-
Workshop with the theme, Restructuring Science Competencies in Inquiry-based
Teaching and Learning Process, from September 27 to 30, 2019 at the Skylight
Convention Center, Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

The convention and seminar-workshop aim to:

1. assess programs and projects implemented in connection with the

National Science Club Month Celebration,
2. enhance knowledge and skills on quality instruction through Inquiry-
Based teaching and learning,
3. develop science concepts through seminar/workshop,
4. enhance teaching styles and explore new ideas on Inquiry-Based
teaching, and
5. design and conduct science investigation on Inquiry-Based teaching.

The target participants are science club advisers, trainers, supervisors,

department heads, science coordinators, science teachers, trainers and coaches of
science congress from public and private elementary and secondary schools.
