 THERMA VALS SPA- IT IS A SPA WHICH WAS BUILDT IN 1996 IN THE EXISTING HOTEL
OF A VILLAGE IN SWITZERLAND BY THE ARCHITECT NAMED PETER ZUMTHOR.IN THIS
WORK HE TRIED TO GET THE USER THE EXPERIENCE OF DIFFERENT NATURE OF
FORCES OF NATURE LIKE HEAT ,COOL,AIR,WATER,ETC
 HE MADE A SUNK IN A MOUNTAIN TO FORM THE SPA AS TO VISUALIZE THE FEELING
OF AHUMAN BING IN AHOT SPA HAVING A VIEW OF SUCH A COLD MOUNTAIN
ITSELF CREATES A SENSE OF CONTRASTNESS IN A PERSONS MIND

CONTRAST BETWEEN HTHE HOT BATH AND COLD MOUNTAINS

 MANY OTHER FEATURES LIKE A CAVE MADE OF STONE (USE OF MATERIAL FEEL)
LEADS FROM HOTEL TO THE SPA TO GIVE THE SENSE OF A NATURAL MOVEMENT
THROUGH MOUNTAINS .
 HE MADE PUNCHURES IN THE ROOF TO CREATE THE SENSE OF LIGHTNESS IN THE
ROOF A BUILDING

THEIR TANGIBILITY, SMELL,AND ACOUSTIC QUALITIES ARE MERELY ELEMENTS OF
THE LANGUAGE WE ARE OBLIGED . "ENSE EMERGES WHEN I SUCCEED IN BRINGING
OUT THE SPECIFIC MEANINGS OF CERTAIN MATERIALS IN MY BUILDINGS, MEANINGS
THAT CAN ONLY BE PERCEIVED IN JUST THIS WAY IN THIS ONE BUILDING. #HEN I
