Title:Improving the Basketball Court in Purok Santa Cruz, Mandalihan, Lupon,

Davao Oriental

Background:
The basketball court in Purok Santa Cruz lacks of improvement and needs
rehabilitation to improve the experience of the players who are constantly using the court.
The locality needs rehabilitation for the court for the barangay council occasionally uses
the said gym for their weekly meetings. Improving the overall aesthetics of the gym will
not only provide a better agenda for meetings, but will ultimately improve the experience
of the players making the court more enjoyable to use.

Objective:
 Provide better and improve basketball court.
 To make the basketball players have a safe place to practice.

Significance:
This will be beneficial to the basketball players and specially to Purok Santa Cruz,
Mandalihan. The people of the purok will be happy to have better improvements in the
basketball court and the basketball players will have no problems when they are playing.

Description:
This project will provide improvements in the basketball court to help and give
those people in the barangay to have a better place to play sport like basketball and other
indoor sports activity.

Persons Involved:
The persons that will be involved in this project will be the Barangay sports center
for they will provide the budget of the project. To individually specify, these are the
following people who will be funding this project, namely: The Sports Committee of the
Local Barangay, The Sports Committee of the Municipality, and The National Sports
Commission. The Barangay councils will also be involved in this project for they will be
providing aid in the workforce in order for this project to become a successful one.

Budget:
The following project requires 1,120,000.00 pesos in order for the project to
become successful.

Time Frame:
This project will start on the 15th of September 2019, and will finish on December
15, 2020 or 90 working days.

Monitoring:
Focal persons will be tasked to have checklists on each part of the project. This
ensures that the project will be on the way to become a success for the people and
especially for those people who will be always using the court, for a lot of people are
expecting this project to be accomplished. With the following persons helping to monitor
the project, this will also help ensure that the project will be finished on or before its due
date.

Science and Technology Applications:

This project follows the principle of proportion, for this project will mainly focus on
the mixture of cement with water. The proper proportion will be necessary in order to
maximize the longevity of the upcoming rehabilitation of the court. This project also
revolves around the distribution of electric circuits for the project also includes the
reinstallation of light bulbs in the said court.
