Course Title : Introduction to Philosophy of the Human Person
Course Description:
This course focuses on the philosophy of the human person. Different philosophical thoughts will be studied to explain the nature of
the human person. Emphasis on the consciousness of origin and destiny of the human person will be a part of this course, which will
guide students in the study of the perennial search for the meaning of life.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, students are expected to:
- be equipped with the different philosophical concepts and ideas that will be discussed throughout the semester
- have a deeper understanding of the human person in the light of philosophical and ethical perspectives
- create/formulate their personal view of the human person that will serve as their guide and framework in searching for the
meaning of life
