One of the most dangerous calamities we, people, may experience without us
knowing, is how sudden a certain Volcano nearby our village or specific place we live in,
would erupt. Volcanic eruptions both give advantages and disadvantages to our lives, but
most of these effects are negative. Let’s say for example, covering a whole plantation of
various crops in a farming area, ash and smoke making it difficult for us to breathe. These
are only some of the few negative things we may possibly experience if ever a Volcanic
eruption would occur. With this, we must learn the basic and important things to do
BEFORE, DURING and AFTER a volcanic eruption especially to areas that are prone to
this kind of disaster.

For our group presentation about what we should do Before, During and After a
Volcanic Eruption, we decided to make it full of entertainment and not the typical formal
kind of discussion so that we could easily get the attention of our classmates. Part of our
plan was we were to portray a volcanologist who visited an area after a volcano erupted,
and he saw the massive damage and destruction the eruption had caused to that specific
area. He then decided to conduct a symposium to raise awareness to the people living
there, and that’s where the actual reporting and discussion of definitions, important terms
and things to do started.

We kept our presentation simple yet mixed with our individual creativity by acting
out the things to do BEFORE, DURING and AFTER a Volcanic Eruption. Our main goal
or objective was to deliver an entertaining yet informative presentation for our audience
to easily understand what our performance was all about.
