Ha Long bay is regarded as a painting of nature and bestowed

perfect beauty by the nature. And in this painting, besides“water

and stone” as usually said, this place is famous for beautiful and
unique caves.
Thien Cung grotto: is located in the southwest of Ha Long bay, about
4km from Tuan Chau International Marina, on Dau Go island. It is 25m
above the sea level. Both sides of the way to Thien Cung grottoare steep
cliffs with luxuriant trees,through a narrow entrance, the grotto
suddenly opens the space on a rectangular surface with the length of 130
m.
The deeper we enter the cave, the more we are amazed by the extremely
lively and magnificent beauty created by the stalactites. On the eastern
wall is like a monumental painting, on which there areold fairy
characters with soft, flexible and dedicate lines to every small details.

Dau Go cave: In the resistance war against Yuan-Mongolian invaders,

General Tran Hung Dao had his troops prepare wooden stakes to plant
into the seabed of Bach Dang river and created a famousnaval battle in
the history.Because there were many wooden pieces left in the cave,
fishermen named it Dau Go cave.

Entering the cave, you will be surprised at its ancient, wild and attractive
beauty. Standing under the dome feels like standing in the middle of an
ancient royal palace with a grand, magnificent and majestic architecture.
Dau Go cave is divided into 3 main chambers. But the most special is
the second chamber with colorful clusters of stone flowers, which makes
me excited and curious. The outer chamber is arch-shaped with the
highlight of a giant “oil painting” describing the wild landscape with the
forest of stalactites and stalagmites on the ceiling. In the end of the cave
is a “fairy” well with cool freshwaterof four seasons.

Sung Sot cave is one of the most beautiful and attractive caves in Ha
Long bay. Not only does Sung Sot cave surprises Ha Long tourists by its
sparkling beauty bestowed by the Creator but it is also one of typical
karst caves with a high scientific value. It was detected by French in
1901.
