BRIGADA ESKWELA REPORT

SY 2018- 2019

Every Filipino deserves to have an education. And to make it possible, the Department of
Education launched a yearly program named “BRIGADA ESKWELA” also known as Bayanihan
sa Paaralan which added a new meaning to the Filipino concept of unity.
In this year 2018 the program’s theme “Pagkakaisa para sa handa, ligtas at matatag na paaralan
tungo sa magandang kinabukasan” brings to us a picture of people from different sectors of society
repainting walls and blackboards, cleaning windows, floors and doors, or repairing classroom and
fences, cleaning the school vicinity, and planting plants that will give relaxing ambiance to the
students.
The success of its implementation lies in the collaborative effort of our administrators, teachers,
private partners, local government units, and the community members, including parents and
students.
