NUT – Japanese industry internship

Nagaoka University of Technology (NUT), Japan inviting students from IITM for
internship at Japanese industries.

1 Internship 2017.5.22 to 2017.5.31 at NUT initial training

period 2017.6.1 to 2017.7.31 at respective company
2 Companies Hitachi Automotive Systems Ltd, Japan
participating Plasma Giken Co. Ltd, Japan
Saima Corporation, Japan

3 Scholarship Round trip air fare and accommodation will be arranged by

the company. Stipend of 1000 -1500 JPY / day will be
provided during internship at the company.
(Accommodation at NUT will be arranged by NUT)

4 Number of 2 in total ( Under graduate / Post graduate)

students
5 Department Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials
Engineering, Engineering Design, Electrical Engineering,
Computer science and Engineering.

6 Application Students should submit application form as per the format

method together with latest CV, academic transcripts and medical
fitness certificate to IITM ( Professor M. Kamaraj, MME )

7 Application March 3, 2017 ( summited to IITM)
schedule IITM is requested to forward the received application to
NUT by 6th March, 2017.
Results will be announced by March 24, 2017
8 Selection IITM will forward the application to NUT (after basic
method screening), after secondary screening NUT to be
recommended to the company. The final selection will be
done by the company.
9 Insurance Selected students after coming to NUT need to enrol for
“Personal Accident Insurance for students pursuing education
and research (PAS) and liability insurance coupled with PAS”
(Fee: 1300 JPY) .
