Contents of Research, Expected Result and Innovation

3.1 Contents of Research

The development of this Research content will be focused on risk assessment of Vientiane
Capital to Vangvieng District expressway construction project in Laos and its presented in five
chapters, beginning with introduction of the chapters:

Firstly in the Chapter one, it will cover the background of the study and significances,
Literature Reviews, content of the research, objectives and innovation, Research Methods and
Technical Routes, limitations and solutions, study organization structuring and finally the research
timeline. Then in Chapter two, it will present the important aspects of the literature review on general
construction. Provide the concepts definition, brief theoretical conceptual framework and survey for
empirical validation using structural analysis of the main issues of the research and present various
arguments of some reviews on risk identification and control Literatures.

Secondly, in Chapter three, it will include methodology, emphasizing on research

designing, institutional Access, informed consent, ethnic of the research, sample size procedure,
location, target population, data collection and data analysis.

Thirdly, Chapter fourth, it will present the results of the study beginning with the
characterization of the sample according to descriptive analysis, statistical analysis and finally
discussion of the findings.

Fourthly, Chapter Fifth, it will cover research summary, conclusion, limitations,

recommendations and finally references and appendix.
