Duties and Responsibilities of the Associate Lawyers

1. Case Management
a. Coordination with liaison officers as to the following:
i. Filing
ii. Documentation
iii. Monitoring of hearing schedules and follow-ups
b. Client billings
c. Coordination with Supervisor

2. Appearance in hearings

3. Drafting of:
a. Pleadings except the following, after which are reviewed and
finalized by the lawyers:
i. Complaints in collection cases
ii. Motion to declare defendant in default
iii. Motion for Issuance of Writ of Execution
iv. Motion to deputize sheriff
v. Motion for extension of time
vi. Judicial Affidavit in collection cases
vii. Pre-trial Brief
viii. Statement of claims in small claims cases
ix. Compliance of proof service

b. Letters and correspondence in non-collection cases

4. Client relations
a. Client meetings and legal consultation
b. Client calls
c. Out-of-court negotiations
