Inside this lovely tapas bar, guests are invited to fully experience the beauty
and authenticity of Spanish culture, and diners are encouraged to fully
relax and enjoy a true taste of all the stunning Spanish dishes this country
has to offer.
‘...authentic tapas menu...’
As well as a fine selection of tapas, De Nada also boasts a beautiful wine list.
Every bottle on the menu has been carefully selected to ensure it pairs with the
wonderful array of tapas dishes available. Every bottle can be served by the
glass meaning you can perfectly match your wine to your order.
We enjoyed sourdough laden with chopped tomato and salty Padrón peppers,
accompanied by a cold beer, while we studied the authentic tapas menu. We
decided on crowd-pleasers of patatas bravas with alioli, and a Spanish tortilla
for my vegetarian friend and both dishes tasted as authentically Spanish as
can be. I tucked into sumptuous king prawns in garlic and chilli and delicious
crispy squid, both were cooked to absolute perfection and were bursting with
flavour. I also grazed through the chef’s selection of authentic charcuterie
meats and cheeses. Comprising chorizo, serrano ham and various Spanish
cheeses, the detail was impeccable – even down to the fruity cubes of quince.
‘...live Spanish music...’
A final flourish of churros with rich chocolate sauce left us full to the brim.
What’s more, De Nada is the only venue in Guildford to offer live Spanish Open: Mon 5pm-11pm;
music, and when you combine the sounds of flamenco with delicious authentic Tues-Thurs noon-3pm,
tapas, you’ll feel as though you have been transported to the tavernas of 5pm-11pm; Fri noon-3pm,
the Spanish coast. 5pm-midnight;
