Collect information from newspapers or magazines regarding long term investment by at least two
Indian companies whose equity shares are listed and traded in recognized stock exchanges. The
information must be contemporary i.e. not earlier than 3 months. You must have copies of the
newspaper or magazine publication to be submitted when demanded. Go through the information and
try to prepare a report covering the following aspects-

a. The marketing appraisal

b. The economic appraisal
c. The technological appraisal
d. Major issues which would have guided the management to decide on the investment given the
contemporary business environment, competitive conditions in the Industry and the current
standing of the firm
