Module Objectives

At the end of the module, the participant will be able to:

• Sketch a BSS Managed Object Hierarchy
• Look up the parameters at each level, in the parameter dictionary
• Identify parameter value ranges and default settings
• Find the changes to objects and parameters, that occur with each
BSS software release

Example from Parameter Dictionary
Parameter name Rxlev Access Min
Abbreviated name rxLevAccessMin
Managed object BTS
Multiplicity 1
With this parameter you define the minimum power level an MS has to receive before it is allowed to
Description
access the cell.
