EMERGENCY GROUND EGRESS (EP HSSD)
3. Fuel Selector – BOTH
4. Select field and Alternate Field 1. Emergency Engine Shutdown – PERFORM
5. Determine Wind Condition and Direction 2. Parking Brakes – SET
6. Determine Keypoints 3. Headset – REMOVE
a. High Key – 2000’ AGL over landing 4. Seatbelts and Harness – DISCONNECT

b. Mix – RICH IN-FLIGHT EMERGENCIES
c. Prop – FULL
d. Master Switch – ON ENGINE RESTART DURING FLIGHT (Glide the Prop,
e. Aux Pump – ON LOW Mix Throttle with Fuel Fuel, Ignite Master Aux, Ignite

10. Check power – ALTERNATELY ADVANCE AND
RETARD THROTTLE FOR ENGINE RESPONSE 1. Glide – ESTABLISHED

15. Perform Emergency Engine Shutdown 6. Fuel Shut Off Knob – IN

c. Ignition Switch – OFF 9. Aux Fuel Pump Switch – LOW
d. Master Switch OFF IF NO FLAPS 10. Ignition Switch – START (if the propeller is
REQUIRED stopped or is rotating intermittently)
16. Prop – FULL DECREASE 11. Propeller – AS REQUIRED
12. Mixture – Adjusted to maintain smooth
engine operation
13. If restart is unsuccessful – REFER TO FORCE
LANDING
