ELEVATOR HEAD DESIGN

The dimensions advised below assure an optimal

efficiency of the JET Bucket, by extension of the elevator

R1 = 3 + 5 + 6 + 7 avec 7 = ½ D
R2 = R1 + 1 + 2
H1 = 1,2 x R1 + 2
8=4–3
H3 = 8 + R1

Note that for elevator’s heights between 31m and 70m,

dimension 3 must be increased by 30%

Table of dimension according to bucket size.

Procedure of drawing the elevator head:

• Output (Dim 1)
• Space between output / leg (Dim 2)
• Space between bucket / leg (Dim 3)
• Chosen bucket profile (Dim 5)
• Belt thickness (Dim 6)
• Pulley axis( pulley radius ) (Dim 7)
• Symmetry for the second leg
• Pulley axis height (Dim H1 )
• Height of the head (Dim H3 )
• Rear radius (Dim R1 )
• Front radius (Dim R2 )
