DIGITAL ASSIGNMENT 1

Inverting and Non-Inverting Amplifiers

Submitted By: Manan Modi(18BEE0014)

Date of experiment: 11th July 2019

AIM:

To understand the input and output characteristics of an Inverting and non-Inverting Amplifier.

Apparatus Required:

• Capture CIS
• OrCAD PSPICE

Circuit Diagram:

Inverting Amplifier

Non-Inverting Amplifier

Procedure:
1.We use the PSPICE software for the stimulation of the circuit.

2.We begin with adding components of the circuit as per our requirement.
3.Then we provide the wiring of the circuit.

4.The circuit is grounded

5.Various values are allotted to different components of the circuit.

6.Finally we click on the new stimulation button and set the time.
7.Then the voltage differential markers are placed at the input and output.

8.Run the stimulation and the graph is obtained.

Snaps of Output:

Inverting Amplifier (with Vampl=5V)

Inverting Amplifier (with Vampl=1V)

Non-Inverting Amplifier(with Vampl=1V)

Attestation:

Inference/Result:

• In the case of Inverting Amplifiers there is an amplified output that is 180o out of phase
whereas there is an amplified output in phase in case of non-Inverting amplifier
• When the output voltage is greater than 15V, the output gets clipped of at 15V.
