PROJECT NAME: LARO NG LAHI

I. RATIONALE

This project focuses on physical activities and promoting better relationship


with their family. In this project, the recipients will play different kinds of games,
in which, throughout the session, they will be able to importance of teamwork
and this project aims to enchant traditional Filipino game and to help improve the
recipients’ physical health. This project requires recipients of different ages
depending on the type of Game they will be joining:
 Moro – Moro for Ages 12 to 15
 Patintero for Ages 6 to 12
 Tumbang Preso for Ages 10 and below
 Luksong Baka for Ages 10 and below

II. OBJECTIVES

Project Laro ng Lahi specifically aims to:

 Re – live Filipino recreational games that is embedded in our


culture through the community.
 Improve the physical health of the recipients by engaging them in
fun activities.
 Improve the solidarity within the community by having them bond
through Filipino games.

III. GUIDELINES

1. Introduce the children to authentic Filipino games, such as:

a.) Luksong-Baka

b.) Patintero

c.) Tumbang Preso

d.) Moro-Moro

2. Play the games with the community children in the alotted time period.

5 Minutes Opening Prayer & Introduction

10 Minutes Setting down of House Rules,


Ice Breakers, and Stretching

25 Minutes First Game: Luksong Baka

30 Minutes Second Game: Moro moro

30 Minutes Third Game: Patintero

20 Minutes Fourth Game: Tumbang Preso

10 Minutes Closing Prayer and Cool Down

VII. EXPECTED OUTPUT (WITH CONCRETE PICTURES/ILLUSTRATIONS)

The expected outcome of the members and participants of the activity:

 The relationship of each family members will be stronger.


 Families will realize the value of teamwork.
 Families will build trust to each of their members.
 The families will be able to apply the important skills in their daily lives.
