Clinical learning environments are meant to provide coherent challenges for nursing students to mold them into effective nurses. However, a study found that students often face challenges such as discrimination from a lack of communication and stress from a lack of theoretical knowledge. These challenges can negatively impact students emotionally or psychologically. While the study focused on internal student challenges, other external challenges like a lack of facilities can also affect student performance. It is important for educators and staff to create an environment that helps students achieve their educational goals and overcome challenges in clinical learning environments.

Learning without well-grounded environment for training is like treating a
patient with no proper prescription. Clinical environment are supposed to be
coherent and have fair challenges not just for students but also for everyone who are part of the said environment. Because this is the field where nursing student will be molded to become the effective registered nurse in the future. Nahid Janshidi et al. (2016) conducted a qualitative research about the challenges of nursing students in clinical learning environment. It is an portrayal of how nursing education is carried out in clinical environment. According to their study, clinical environments have a multi-dimensional and quite sophisticated social structure, wherein the low and difficult control of conditions characterizing the structure has an effect on learning. The factors constituting this social structure include the conditions of the clinical environment, the characteristics of the students and educators, and the instructor-student interaction. However, it is highly important that students be able to derive benefits from these factors and conditions or challenges. Although, in the study found out that students that faces challenges in clinical learning environment such as discrimination caused by lack of communication, stress and pressure caused by lack of theoretical knowledge are tend to have problems emotionally or psychologically. In my opinion, I think some areas of clinical environments are unsatisfactory in terms of providing educational experiences that enable students to learn and adopt targeted behavior and skills. Educators and other nursing staffs should put an efforts on it. They are responsible for creating an environment that can help students reach their educational goals. Moreover, as I further perceived the article, I found out that the study merely focus on the internal problems of the nursing student in clinical environment which is not bad. But, there are some other factor also inlined with clinical teaching that are necessary to be tackle especially with this kind of study, for example, external problems such as lack of instrument and facilities. These another challenges of nursing students are common but it also needs such remedy for it can affect the behavior and performance of nursing student in their learning clinical environment. In solution for the aforementioned challenges in the article, each should take congruent action, learn how to identify, adopt and accept changes. Clinical environment will never stop on giving people some challenges it's up to us how we are going to perceive it and take action on it. Clinical education pertains to the application part of nursing education and provides students the opportunity to learn under real conditions. However, the lack of control of the conditions constituting the clinical environments can affect learning. Identifying the challenges in clinical education in nursing is very important.
