Introduction

Pandesal is common in the market. Pandesal in Filipino and Pan de Sal in Spanish, it means
bread of salt. Pandesal was invented in the 16th century Spanish Era in the Philippines and is
Portuguese in origin. There is no classification in terms of the consumer, even adult or young
individuals willing to patronize Pandesal as long as they can buy it. Some other people made
Pandesal as a substitute for their breakfast, either lunch or dinner. That’s why the researchers
come up with an idea to put up a business that is selling Pandesal.
Upon the study started, the researchers planned to place it in the city and towns but sad to
say that Bayawan City, Sta, Catalina, and Basay proper has been saturated with competitors.
Until they found out, that there is a vacant place in Bongalonan, Basay which is the area is
owned by the proponent. Therefore, the area is chosen to put up the proposed subject.

The location of “Onion Pandesalan in Bongalonan” can be reached by the customers since it is fronting
Presbeterian Church and there are many households in the area. Aside from that, there are some
vehicle stops since there is a gasoline refilling outlet near the said location. Mostly fishermen pass
through the area before they can reach the shore.
