My Reflection

After reading the article, it puts a smile on my face knowing that people in Uganda are
implementing proper care for pregnant women in their hospitals. Having the proper knowledge when a
baby is crucial in most part because it is for the mother as well as for the baby to be safe and still being
healthy. It is good that being assisted with a nurse with proper knowledge with delivery rather than
inviting a person who lacks knowledge in assisting the delivery. Going to the health center is important
for the baby and as well as the mother to keep updated on what is happening. With that enhanced on
increasing women’s perception of the value of care they will have knowledge on how to handle things

Here in our country pregnant women are encouraged to have prenatal check up to monitor the
condition of the mother and the baby. The government erected health center in different barangays
where there are trained health care professionals to give health information our pregnant mothers.
