Sub:- Tender for Providing & Fixing Barricading with Structural Steel
Framework at the Govt. GPRA Complex at Netaji Nagar, New Delhi

The following amendments are made to the captioned tender:

A) The following ‘Tender Drawings’ are added to the tender documents-

1) Plot Boundary, Drawing No. NN/MP-01;

2) Barricading Elevation & Gate Detail, Drawing No. Arch.-1002.

B) The following Clauses are added, as under:-

i) The contractor shall neither do nor cause to do cutting, damage, pruning

to any tree without the express approval of forest department. In case it
is unavoidable to affect any tree, then he shall obtain approval of forest
department for which NBCC will assist him.

ii) The Contractor is required /under an obligation to ensure compliance of

Delhi Preservation of Tree Act, 1994 (as amended upto date) (DPTA Act)
and/or any statue related to preservation of trees. He shall be held liable
if any tree is cut, pruned, felled, damaged etc. or non-compliance of the
provisions of the above mentioned act. NBCC shall at all times be
indemnified by the contractor from any liability on account of non-
compliance of the above law/act by the contractor. In the event of
contractor’s failure to adhere to any of the provisions of the DPTA act as
above, the NBCC can deduct/recover sum/sums as deemed fit from any of
the contractor’s dues besides any other action available in the contract for
breach of contract or legal action, as it may deem fit in its absolute
discretion.

All other conditions shall remain unchanged.
