PART B-(2X15=30marks)
6. Design a reinforced concrete floor slab for a room having inside dimension 5mX12m and supported by
a 30cm thick brick wall. The super imposed load may be taken as 5kpa..use M15 grade concrete and
Fe25 grade steel. Assume floor load as 2kpa.
7. Design a R.C slab for a room measuring 4mX5m size. The slab is simply supported on all four edges,
with corners held down and carries a super imposed load of 5kN/m2.inclusive of floor finish etc. use
M15,Fe250.
PART C-(1X10=10marks)
8. A circular room has 6m diameter from inside. Design a circular roof slab for room, to carry a
superimposed load of 5000N/m2.Assume slab is simply supported at the edges. Assume floor load as
1.5kN/m2.use M15,Fe250.
