7 Days Morocco Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive at Marrakech Airport on flight N°.......... at ........ your English-speaking driver will be
waiting in the ‘Drivers and Escorts’ designated area, just outside the main Arrivals Hall,
and will be holding a sign with your names clearly written on it. Please ensure you go
outside the Arrivals Hall to meet with your driver at the Point de Rencontre. He will be
with you throughout your time in Morocco and will make sure that all check-ins, check-
outs

Day 2: Marrakech Guided City Tour

Your local guide will take you to see the historic sites of Marrakesh including the
Koutoubia Mosque, Jemma el Fna square, the souks of the Medina, the Bahia Palace, the
Saadian Tombs, and the famous Ben Youssef Medersa. In the afternoon your private
driver/guide will take you to visit the Majorelle and Menara gardens. overnight at your
riad/hotel.

Day 3: To Essaouira

continue for the 2.5 hours’ drive to Essaouira, During your trip, visit an association of
Berber women producing argan oil, see the local markets, and marvel, and for sure a Visit
to Vineyards for Wine Tasting, you can Have lunch at the fabulous Val D'argan, Essaouira,
a charming fishing port on the Atlantic Ocean, Essaouira invites you to wander through
the narrow alleyways to witness artisans at work, making their wooden tables, boxes and
sundry items in lemon or Thuya wood inlaid with mother of pearl, or jewellery out of
Berber silver. Rest of the day at leisure with perhaps a long stroll on the beach

Day 4: To Rabat
Leave Essaouira Drive to Rabat, where the King mostly live. You can have a guided visit to
the Royal Palace, the Tour Hassan, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the old fortress
Chellah with views surrounding the city, then onto the charming Oudayas where the
young artists hang out together, just across the road from the Medina. (Guide not
included but we can book it in advance if needed

Day 5: To Chefchaouen

Leave Rabat after breakfast for a short drive around the highlights of Rabat then onto
Chefchaouen, about 3.5 hour away, one of the prettiest towns in Morocco, with its hued
blue-rinsed houses and cobbled lanes set beneath the striking peaks of the Rif
Mountains. It has a bit of a “hippy feel”. Arrive at your riad in the late afternoon, Dar
Cherifa, located in the very heart of the souks with a unique atmosphere. We can
recommend dinner at the newly opened Café Clock –it serves casual food in a relaxed,
vibrant atmosphere, and is a real cultural meeting place; it is popular both with locals and
visitors alike, as it offers musical and story-telling evenings.

Day 5: Day at leisure at Chefchaoun

you can drive around the city with our driver or we can book a guided tour of
chefchaouen in Advance if needed then depart to fes in the afternoon

Day 6: Fes

City tour This morning, your English-speaking guide and your driver will collect you for
your Historical Tour of Fes with a visit to the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish quarter)
followed by a walk through the Unesco World Heritage, mind-boggling ancient medina
and Fes El-Bali. Fes has various claims to nobility as one of the most prestigious cities in
the Muslim world and is also the oldest of the imperial cities and the capital of the first
Arab dynasty of Morocco. You will visit the not to be missed Tanner's quarters, small
Moroccan art and craft museums, the water clock, the most colorful Souk el-Attarine,
Fondouk el-Nejjarine, and the Medersa Bouanania, a dazzling example of architectural
refinement. You will pass the Medersas and the Al Karaouiyne University, which has
existed for the past 1000 years and see craftsmen working in the narrow lanes much as
they had done for centuries, stopping at one of the Carpet Palaces to learn about all the
different types of carpets made in Morocco while sipping a glass of traditional mint tea. A
short visit to the Tanneries holding your bunches of mint to keep the smells at bay
(Guide not Included but we can book it in advance)

Day 7: Back To Marrakech, Drop off at the airport for departure
