Introduction

Work Immersion iis a method used to develop the students skills. It is

a learning opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience
through their exposure to different operation in the hotel. Aside from
work experience, work immersion allows the trainee to get acquainted
with the real professionals and to meet people having different position
in the company, either high or low. The trainee will be able to know
how to adjust to other peoples personalities and attitudes.

Background of the study

According to Google students in an immersion environment become more

flexible thinkers and excel aat critical thinking and problem, they are able to
look for more than one solution. The mental stretch students receive in an
immersion helps develop their executive function allowing them to have
better focus, jungle multiple tasks and adapt to changing condition. The skill
gained through an immersion students make more appealing to prospective
employers when entering the workplace. Most of the students have taken
their work immersion for granted, not realizing the importance it can bring
on their future career. Having a good performance during work immersion ia
very important especially now that there's a light competition toward job
seekers and the high qualification of companies.
