The equipment comprises of the following :

1. Three metal legs (approx. 5 meters long).

2. One Pulley.

3. One Tie Bolt.

4. One copy of Operating Instructions with General Assembly Drawing.

Tripod with Pulley

Introduction

The equipment comprises of one tripod consisting of three metal legs approximately 5
meters long connected by a tie bolt and one pulley. It is used for lifting AIM-019 Drive
Weight and dropping it during testing.

Description

The equipment is illustrated in the General Assembly Drawing and the numbers given
against the components of the equipment in the description below pertain to this General
Assembly Drawing.

The Tripod consists of three legs (1) joined through a tie bolt (2) at one end. A pulley (3)
is fixed. A rope (not supplied) tied to the AIM-019 Drive Weight 65 kg (not supplied with
the equipment) goes round the pulley.

For easy transportation each leg (1) is made up of three parts and are connected by bolts.

Operation

Connect the two parts of each leg (1) together and tighten with bolts and nuts. Take a rope
round the pulley (3) and position the tripod such that pulley is centrally located over the
bore hole.

Maintenance

1. The Tripod and Pulley (3) should be cleaned and oiled periodically.

2. Bolts for connecting the legs (1) should be fully tightened.
