    AGUILON GOLF MEMBERS REPORT

    The Spanish members are in to their prestigious trophies at this time


    of the year, but why they tee off at 4pm is a mystery, being the
    hottest time of day.

    Wednesday August 18 – Individual Stableford

    It is still a question of stamina and concentration to last 18 holes in


    this heat, however the scoring belies this.

    1st Terry Ayling 40 pts

    2nd Paul Mailly 38 pts

    3rd Rich Hull 35 pts on a card play off

    Twos: Bob Tagg 8th, Paul Mailly, Dave Simpson 12th, Mike Esposito,
    Norman Whibley 17th

    Wednesday August 25 - Individual Stableford

    At last a little drop in the temperature, but still good scoring with our
    winner returning from injury and Paul Mailly being bridesmaid for
    the second week running.

    1st Roy Lewis 41 pts

    2nd Paul Mailly 38 pts

    3rd Kevin Manser 36 pts
