    Volcanic Eruptions

    **Safety Tip – Wear safety glasses to protect eyes against the eruption! **

    Step 1: Pour into a bottle


    - 150ml Vinegar
    - 50ml Water
    - Squeeze of Dishwashing Liquid
    - Food Colouring
    Gently swirl the bottle to mix the ingredients
    Step 2: Mix in a separate bottle (or cup)
    - 100ml water
    - 2 Spoon-fulls of Bicarb Soda
    Step 3: Stir the Bicarb soda mixture until it becomes liquid
    Step 4: Pour the bicarb mixture into the vinegar mixture and stand back to
    watch the eruption.

    Variables to be tested:
    - The amount of Vinegar that you use
    - The amount of Bicarb Soda that you use
    - The amount of Dishwashing Liquid that you use
    - The size of the crater
