b. Concept: Life after marriage is hard; therefore, one should see to it that he is ready and prepared
enough for the bigger responsibilities that a marriage life demands.
2. We are assigned to read the short story “Footnote to Youth” written by Jose Garcia Villa.
Proceed to our lesson for today. You should open up the teacher web site to the story Footnote for
Youth which should be directly under the piece on Perfect Moment by Gladys Bell.
C. Not long from now, you will be a graduate of this institution, and several years from now, you will
build your own families. If you were to get married someday, what would be the factors that you would
want to consider first before marrying?

the title itself suggests. It reminds us of the responsibilities and realities that come with marriage and
the family life. It advises us that life after marriage is difficult especially when we are yet incapable of
the responsibilities and challenges that life gives. Therefore, we should not rush into something that we
will be regretting in the end.
