The Technical Partner Information Questionnaire is formulated by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.
This Privacy Statement ("This Statement") is applicable to the scenarios where the questionnaire ("this
questionnaire" or "us") collects and uses the personal information you provide to us. Please read

We collect your personal information to evaluate whether your academic background matches our
cooperation requirements, and quickly locate the best cooperation resources to facilitate project
cooperation. Such information includes your name, gender, nationality, home page, position, title, the
organization in which you work, department, academic honor, main research directions, field of
expertise, scale of your team, your title in the industry or academic organization, industry cooperation,

and government science and technology projects. To communicate with you, we will collect your email
address, telephone number, office address, or home address.

2. Applicable legal basis to handle your personal information

Huawei will process your personal information following the requirements of applicable laws on an
appropriate legal basis, including:

 Handle your personal information for performing the contract.

 Ask for your consent in specific situations.
 We may also process your personal information on the basis of complying with law requirements.

3.1 This questionnaire will not sell, rent, trade, or transfer any personal information to third parties
(companies other than Huawei and its affiliated companies) without your prior explicit consent, except for
fulfilling the obligations of applicable laws or requirements of legal procedures as specified below.

3.2 In order to achieve the following purposes, we may share your personal information within the scope of
the applicable law:

 Share with Huawei's associated companies: Your personal data may be shared with Huawei's

associated companies.

 In some jurisdictions, if Huawei is involved in restructuring, merger, bankruptcy, or liquidation, your

personal information may be shared to the transaction party.

 Comply with applicable laws or respond to legal proceedings of authorities (including law

enforcement agencies and other government organizations).

4. How this questionnaire protects your personal information

Huawei respects the security of personal information. We use appropriate physical, management, and
technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use,
modification, damage, or loss. For example, we use encryption technology to ensure data confidentiality.

The protection mechanism is used to prevent data from malicious attacks. The access control mechanism
is deployed to ensure that only authorized personnel can access personal information. And we will

5. How this questionnaire retains your personal information

5.1 We will keep your information for a period of time to meet all purposes specified in this Privacy
Statement unless the retention period may be extended or permitted by law. Due to different scenarios, the
data storage period may be different. The standards for determining the retention period include: Time
period during which personal data needs to be retained for the purpose of completing the business
cooperation, and whether the data subject agrees to the longer retention period. Check whether there are
special requirements for retaining data in laws and contracts.

5.2 The personal data you submit to us will be stored on the server in China. Huawei is a multinational
company, which means that your personal data collected by Huawei may be processed or accessed in
countries or regions where you use products or services, or other countries or regions where Huawei or its
affiliates, subsidiaries, or service providers are located. These countries or regions may have different data
protection laws.

In such cases, Huawei will take measures to ensure that the collected data is handled according to the
requirements of this policy and applicable laws. When personal data in the EU data subject is transferred
to a country or region of the same data protection level that is not recognized by the EU, Huawei will use
various legal mechanisms, such as signing the standard contract clauses approved by the European
Commission or requesting your consent to cross-border transfer of personal data, or implement security
measures such as data anonymization before cross-border data transfer.

6. How to check and update your personal information

It is your responsibility to ensure that all personal data submitted to Huawei is correct. Huawei is
dedicated to maintaining the accuracy and completeness of your personal information and keeping the
information up-to-date.

cooperation manager directly.

7. Update of this statement

Huawei reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. If our privacy statement changes, we will
