Estonian Association for the History and Philosophy of Science was founded in 1967
with the aim of promoting the study of the history of science with the focus on the
Baltic Sea region in general and Estonia in particular as well as the philosophy of
science in the broad sense.

The association in close cooperation with Latvian and Lithuanian Associations of the
History and Philosophy of Science is publishes an English-language peer-reviewed,
open-access journal Acta Baltica Historiae et Philosophiae Scientiarum. The biannual
journal publishes academic papers in English. The main publication criterion will be
scientific excellence, evaluated according to the criteria in effect in international
journals. Beside original research papers, book reviews, conference overviews,
other short communications will be considered for publication. We believe this will
make the journal more dynamic and more attractive. The journal is advised by a
prestigious international Editorial Board, composed of philosophers and historians
of science from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, UK,
USA, Bulgaria, Russia, Hungary and China.

How to submit:
No length limit is imposed. However, the editors can refuse papers judged too
long. The manuscripts submitted for the journal must be anonymous. Therefore the
author must avoid any reference that could help the two referees to identify her. If
the paper is accepted, the author will have to provide a version of the paper in the
style required by the editors.

Please send all contributions (incl. an abstract and keywords added to a longer
article) to Peeter Müürsepp at peeter.muursepp@ttu.ee, Amirouche Moktefi at
amirouche.moktefi@ttu.ee.
