The London Eye is the world’s tallest observation wheel, located at Riverside of Thames,
Lambeth, London. The height of the wheel is 135 m and the wheel has a diameter of 120 m,
sometime if the event held in the wheel specially in the night, the light on the capsules can turn
on and make a beautiful view. Arround the wheel there was a visitors boat to take visitors look
around the river, and also there some building like museum around the wheel. The wheel can
carry up to 15.000 visitors a day.

The London Eye was designed by a couple of husband and wife, David Marks and Julia Barfield.
It was opened in December 1999 with a ceremony and allowed to be visited by public in March
2000. The architects made the wheel for celebrating a new landmark.

The ticket price are free for under 4, 12.30 pound for 4 until 16, and 19.20 pound for 16+. You
can use the trains if want to go there. The nearest train station to the London Eye is London
Waterlo Rail Station. It is about five minutes walking distance from the London Eye although for
the quickest route I recommend taking exit six for the South Bank and following the signs.
