Basic Salary: 1,700 Qatari riyal

Social function: Not really sociable, I’ll just going outside to meet my friends every day

Political status: Qatar is a country which is head by emir Qatar it is an constitutional

monarchy which is emir of Qatar run the states and the government.

Cultural: Qatar is an open country now, but some Qatari locals citizens are practicing

their old cultures and beliefs. They were very conservative when it comes to dress and

very religious people.

QUESTIONS

1. Are you happy being an OFW?

Yes, I’m happy being an OFW but there are times that I missed my family in the

Philippines. Being an OFW is hard because you have to sacrifice and be apart to your

love ones, but working abroad provides the needs of my family and it makes me happy

that I can help them in that way.

2. Will you still work as OFW?

Now, I will not go back to work abroad because I have my own family now. I decided to

stay in the Philippines for good to take care my babies and my husband

3. Will you acquire permanent status as citizen?

No, I never dreamed to acquire citizenship in the other country. I am happy to be a

Filipino citizen. I am proud to be Filipino and I love to stay in the Philippines with my

family.
