Significance of the Study

The result of this study will hopefully give better insights to all people and the community.

Society. This will profit by the examination for the reason that the advancement will help the
mass with acquiring methods for inexhaustible assets through human activities which can be
used for future purposes. This will decrease the utilization of non-sustainable assets that is
simultaneous be harmful to the environment.

Mountaineers and Hikers. This technology will benefit hikers and mountaineers that need
emergency location devices or beacons. This will also give them an idea to power portable
devices without wasteful batteries and not harming the environment.

Miners. This technology will help them to generate energy while working. This will also provides
light that might be useful in their workplace.

Students. With this renewable energy, this will help them to create energy through human
locomotion and use it in times of need. This can be a convenient portable charger or power
bank. While creating energy through the use of this technology, they were able to reduce the
harmful effects of non-renewable energy.

Future Researchers. This will be a great benefit for them. The data gathered by the researchers
can be used as a reference upon testing the validity of other related findings. This will also give
them an idea to modified or create new ideas out of this research study. This study will also serve
as their cross-reference that will give them initial knowledge or overview of the field of
piezoelectric energy harvesting.

Scope and Delimitation of the Study

This research study will be conducted to determine how may piezoelectric transducers embedded
in shoes generate renewable energy.

This study will examine the amount of energy that can be generated by the piezoelectric circuit
according to the type of human locomotion being conducted, excluding any other factor that can
affect how much energy can be produced by the said circuit. The researcher will be able to
determine the further effects of piezoelectric transducers which can be installed to the insole of
the shoes. Moreover, the researchers would not get the value of power and current of the
prototype due to the inconsistency of the said values in the piezoelectric transducers itself.
The data needed for the research study will be gathered at Jose Rizal Institute within the
academic year 2019-2020.
