General Rules

1. Only participants or observers with ID cards are allowed to enter the competition
area.
2. STRICTLY prohibited to bringing food / drink in the competition area.
3. Participant / observer are sugested to bring own jacket to the competition area,
because the room temperature is very cold.
4. Have to bring own battery for robot which rent from committee or have your own by
using AERO AA and AAA battery type as Exclusive battery partner.
5. Participants MUST bring along all necessary items (laptops, batteries, robotics parts).
6. STRICTLY prohibited to exchange media transfer such as external hard disk, flashdisk,
etc.
7. Participant are not allowed to out from competition area while competition is in
progress.
8. Participants queue number will be moved to the bottom if has called 3x not present in
the competition area.
9. General robot specification are limited to:
a. 1 kg weight
b. Maximum dimension 20cm (length) x 20cm (width) x 20cm (height)
c. Shall not use rechargeable battery.
d. There are exceptions on IoT, Humanoid Mission, Creative, Theater, Coding Mission
Category (please refer to each rule details).
10. Can share the same robot for the same institution/school.
11. Competition with OPEN level category mean there’s no difference of junior and senior
level.
12. In the event of category level with less than 10 teams the committee reserves the right
to combine the level become open level or you can change to another game category.
13. All categories of this competition are:
a. TEAM, with maximum 2 participants for Brickspeed, Kinder Mission, Road
Challenge, 2 On 2 Soccer, Sumo, Humanoid Rescue, Maze Solving, Iot Game
Categories.
b. Creative category: TEAM with minimum 2, maximum 5 participants.
c. Theater category: TEAM with minimum 3, maximum 10 participants.
14. If there are participants / team will join 4 game category or more, they have to choose
at least one to creative or theater category.
15. There are 2 time session category:
a. Session A: 09.00 – 12.00
b. Session B: 13.00 – 16.00
16. Participants have to choose which 2 maximum category at one of the session (ex:
participant join 2 category on session A). It is not recommended to join more than 3
categories in 1 session, except theater and creative in session B.
17. Observer are NOT ALLOWED to have direct communication with the participants
during the competition. If they have any urgent request, kindly approach our staff.
18. Participants should take care of personal belongings as the organizer will NOT BE
RESPONSIBLE for any losses.
19. As the venue is a public location, students are reminded to observe their behaviors at
all times.
20. Please DO NOT DAMAGE the venue properties. The organizer will not be liable for any
damages and serious action will be taken.
21. In the event of any disagreement or misunderstanding, the judges’ decision will be
final.
22. If there are any changes to the rules and regulations, it will be announced to all
participants 7 days before the competition starts. The judges will have full
authority to explain and enforce the rules for all the competition.
23. Prior to the start of the competition, all robots will undergo an inspection. If the robots
do not meet the requirements, participants will be given a grace time of
15 mins to modify their robots, otherwise the participants will be disqualified.
24. If the robots encounter any technical difficulty before the start of the match, they will
be given 1 mins to do the changes to the robot.
25. Participants are not allowed to touch their robots and/or remote controls during the
competition unless instructed by the judges.
26. Any act of cheating and non-compliance with the rules (disturbing the Remote Signal
/ RF / Bluetooh frequency) will be IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED and BLACKLISTED
from the ROCI & International Competition Event.

Misssion Construct a robot shape with fastest time

1.0. Objective
Brickspeed is a game that requires teamwork to construct a bricks set become an
animal robot shape that has been determined by the jury. This game test student ability
to construct a robot with high stability skill as possible. The fastest team who have
construct the brick will be the winner.

2.0. Robot Kit Used


1. There are several differences kit for each level will be used in this game.
a. Junior A: MRT Story kit
b. Junior B: MRT Story kit
c. Junior C: MRT Exciting kit
d. Senior: MRT Shooting Tank kit
2. All robots kit used, will be provided by the committee.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Robot shape must be built, will be announced when the competition begin, just
prepare yourself.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Length of a Match
1. There are 4 sessions (depend on participants who will join).
2. There are 10 team will compete together per sessions.
3. 10 minutes per sessions.

4.2. Building of Robot


1. Each team in Junior level shall build 2 robot shape.
2. Each team in Senior level shall build 1 robot shape.
3. If there's a team which only have 1 participant, so she/he have to build just 1
robot shape.
4. Building of robot will be announced when the competition begin.

4.3. Competition Task


1. Build a robot (guidebook: include)
2. Raise your hands when finish. Then the jury will see what you have done.
4.4. Deciding the Winner
1. Team who have finish with the fastest time will be the winner.

Misssion Solve some simple mathematics calculation
Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1.0. Objective
Participants are required to solve some simple mathematics calculation and move the
correct answer cube to the answer area with their own robot. They must try as fast as
possible to do the calculation and move the answer cube to the answer area in the time
given. Points will be given only for the correct answer.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot at starting box shall not exceed 20cm (height) x 20cm (length)
x 20cm (width). However, robots are allowed to expand to any size after the game
start.
2. Each robot must fully comply with the size restriction.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Only MRT parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to the amount
of blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts from the above
mentioned systems for the robots.
2. However, ONLY maximum 2 number of DC motors, and 1 mainboard are allowed to
use for the competition, there is no limit on other electronic parts.
3. Robot built is allowed to modify the mechanical parts (painting/folding) but not
electronic parts. If found guilty, the player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified.
4. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
5. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC (Volt of Direct Current).
VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety
reasons.
6. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena & surroundings in anyway whatsoever.
7. Robots will need to protect their sensors if necessary from any outside interferences.
8. Robots RC receivers will need to be protected from any outside interferences.

5.3. Starting the Robot
1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the game.
2. All robots must place at the start area of the game field before the referee start
the game.

5.4. Competition Task


1. Participants need to control their own robot.
2. Picking up a math question (card) from a box ONLY when the referee instruct to
do so.
3. PLACE the card on the left of the start point.
4. Solve the question and control the robot to move the correct answer to the
answer area, only one answer (block with number) can allow to be move in the
answer area.
5. Quickly control the robot back to the start point and pick up another question
when the referee approve.
6. Solve as many questions as possible during 2 minutes.
7. The students are not allowed to use any tools to do the calculation when pick a
question from the box provided.

5.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Each correct answer will score 1 point and the participants with the highest
points will be the winner. Answer is accepted and checked only after cube
moved inside answer area.

1.0. Objective
To promote team work and test student ability to construct a robot with high
stability and controlling skill to play soccer game.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 20cm (H) x 20cm (W) x
20cm (L). However, robot is not allowed to expand to any size after the game starts.
2. The maximum weight of the robot is 1000 grams (Include batteries).

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Only MRT parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to the amount
of blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts from the
above mentioned systems for the robots.
2. However, ONLY maximum:
a. 2 number of DC motors and 1 mainboard are allowed to use for for the
competition.
3. Robot built is allowed to modify the mechanical parts (painting/folding) but not
electronic parts. If found guilty, the player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified.
4. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
5. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC (Volt of Direct
Current). VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for
safety reasons.
6. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena and surroundings in anyway
whatsoever.

8. Robot cannot be design in a closed structure to handle the ball. The judge will check
the robot structure before the competition begin.

4.0. Game Rules

4.3. Starting the Robot


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
2. The participant who remote controls the robot shall keep distance with the game
field area without touching or disturbing the game field.

4.4. Competition Tasks


1. All the games will be based on “knock out” system. All the teams will be
distributed in opposing pairs by KRON committee randomly.
2. Each team shall consist of 2 robots and 2 paticipants with each participants
controlling one robot.
3. During the match, the participants who control their robot please keep distance
with game field, and don’t touch or damage the field.
4. A robot not allowed to handle the ball for more than 5 seconds.
5. Upon removal of a robot from the playing field, it can only re-enter the game
upon referee’s approval.
6. Robots can deploy any tactics or maneuvers, as long as it does not constitute a
foul.
7. The robot can only stay within the penalty area for a maximum of 5 seconds.
Participant will be warned by the jury to move their robot if the robot stay within
the penalty area more than 10 second.
8. Extra time of 1 minute shall be played only in the event of a draw.
9. Sudden death shall be played only in the event of draw on extra time.
10. All robots will be collected by referees before the competition begin.
11. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back onto
the robots during the match, unless permitted by jury.
12. While the match is in progress, at any time the jury whistles, the participants
should stop the robot.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. Within 3 minutes, the team with highest goals will be the winner.
2. The ‘knock-out’ stage shall not consist of any points and the winner of the game
shall proceed to the next round.
3. The time limit for extra time shall be 1 minute.
4. In the event of a DRAW by the end of extra time, ‘Sudden Death’ time shall decide
the match in the event both teams are still tied for score. The team that missed
the first ball, loses the game.

4.6. Disqualification
1. Touching the robots while the match is in progress.
2. Robot does not comply with the size restrictions.

1.0. Objective
Push-push Sumo is a game that test and challenge the participant’s ability to construct
and programmed a remote controlled / autonomously wheeled robot to pass through the
runway and push opponent out of the game field (white colour).

1. The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 20cm (H) by 20cm (W) by
20cm (L). However, robots are allowed to expand to any size after the game starts.
2. The maximum weight of the robot is 1000 grams (Include batteries).

2. 30 seconds setup time is provided before the start of each game.

4.3. Starting the Robot


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
4.4. Competition Task
1. All the games will be based on “knock out” system. All the participants will be
distributed in opposing pairs by KRON committee randomly.
2. Both robots must attempt to cross over to the other half of the opponent side
and engage the opponent robot as soon as the match starts. The robot can
deploy any tactics or maneuvers, as long as it does not constitutes a foul.
3. Within 60 seconds, the robot pushed the opponent robot off the playfield first
considered wins. Rematch will be carried out when both robots fall off from
the playfield.
4. In case of the robot’s body is out from the game field more than half or unable
to return back into the game field, it is considered as lose.
5. Robots MUST be placed behind the start line on the runway before the match
starts.
6. Robots are to remain stationary until the START whistle has been blown.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


a. Win (Push the 2 robot opponent robot outside the play field or both robot of
each team not able to move back into the play field) winner score 2 marks.
b. Lose (Half of the robot’s body being push out by opponent to the runway or not
able to moveback into play field) loser score 0 mark.
c. Draw (each robots team still moving and stay inside the play field) both scored
1 mark.
d. In the event of a draw, one / both of robot team will be placed in back to back
position and continue the final round to get the winner.

4.6. Disqualification
A team shall be disqualified if it commits any of the following during the match:
a. Robot does not comply with the size restrictions.
b. Not attempting to engage the opponent robot as soon as the match starts.
c. Touching the robot while the match is in progress.
d. A stalemate of more than 5 seconds.
e. Unable to enter the playfield (white colour) in 10 seconds.

1.0. Objective
The goal of this game is to test student’s ability to program the robot to save and
preserve the remaining nature and also to save the survivors. This also will test the
student’s decision making as to save which one first the forest or the survivors.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


Robot must not exceed 20cm(H), 20cm(W), 20cm(L).

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Usage of maximum 4 DC motors, 2 servos, 5 IR sensors, 1 tracer sensor block and 1
mainboard only.
2. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
3. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply more than 9V DC. VAC (Volt of
Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
4. Must not cause any danger to the arena.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Length of a Match
1. Each game is stipulated for 4 minutes only.
2. Programming, trial, and match session will be given for 3 hour.
a. Programming: 1 hours.
b. Trial and match: 2 hours.
c. When match session, each team have only 4 minutes to run their robot.
3. In the following cases, a match will end before 4 minutes.
a. In the event of disqualification.
b. When the judge sees that continuation of the match is impossible.
c. Damages on the arena.
d. Completion of time.
e. Damages the forest.

4.2. Building of Robot

2. Participants is allowed to start (switch on) the robot using single switch
operation.

4.4. Completion Task


1. Once the match has begun, the robot must move by its own to complete the task.
2. Collect and bring the survivors to the rescue center.
3. Go to the affected area of the forest (burning area only).
4. Trigger the IR sensor to put off the fire (LED Red change to Green).
5. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back onto
the robot during match.
6. Back and stop at starting point.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. The winner will be the participants who able to complete the task with highest
score in the shortest time.
2. If the score is the same for two participants, the shortest time will be the winner.

4.6. Points, Penalties and Disqualification


1. Points
f. 10 points will be awarded for each survivor if properly placed in the rescue
center. If physically less than 50% of survivor body in the rescue center box,
only get 5 points. Out of the box, no point.
g. Put out the fire (triggered the IR sensor to turn LED Red to Green) will be
awarded 10 points each.
h. If LED not turn to Green, there is no point.
i. Robot return and stop at starting point will be awarded 20 points.

2. Penalties
Placing the survivor at any affected area of the forest will receive a penalty
which is the deduction of 15 points.

3. Disqualification
a. Touching the robot or the item in the arena while the match is in progress.
b. Robot does not comply with the size restriction.
c. A stalemate of more than 10s.
d. The robot moves out of the line for more than 10s.

Mission Create a robot expressing the given theme
Game Method Presentation and evaluation by panel

1.0. Objective
Provide a platform for student to showcase their creativity, innovative and
programming skills. They are required to work together as a team to design a robot based
on the given theme. Besides, they will also need to present and demonstrate their robot
creation well to convince and impress the judges.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size and weight of the robot is not limited.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. For Creative MRT Robot kit category: Only MRT series of products are to be used to
build the robot. There is no limitation to the amount of blocks used to build the robot.
You are allowed to cross use the parts from the above mentioned systems for the
robots.
2. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately
3. There is no size and weight limitation for the robot.
4. Robots can use and add other materials such as camera, sensors, paper, rings, clips,
chopsticks, paper cups, and 3D Printing materials etc.

whatsoever.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Method of a Match
1. Participants shall build a robot in advance.
2. Participants are given 1 hours duration to prepare their robot.
3. Each group has presentation time of 3 minutes to introduce their robots to the
referee on the stage.
4. Robots may be displayed in/around the venue. The team members or teacher
may keep the robots and explain to the public.

4.2. Competition
1. During the preparation time of robot, judges can interview the participants
randomly. Participant should answer the question sincerely as this is part of the
evaluation.
2. The question is related to the construction of the robot.
3. There are 2 round of assessment.
a. Round 1: participants should presenting their robot. After that, judges will
challenge participants to modify their mechanical (hardware) part or code
programming (software) depend on judges request. Each team will be
given 10 minutes to prepare their modified robot on ROUND 2.
b. Round 2: Participant should showing their modified robot.

4.3. Theme: UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)


The 5 themes are selected among 17 SDGs proposed by the United Nations.
The robot can be based on one of the following field ONLY:
a. Zero Hunger.
b. Good Health and Well Being.
c. Clean Water and Sanitation.
d. Affordable and Clean Energy.
e. Sustainable Cities and Communities.

4.4. Robot Manual


1. Participants should submit the robot manual (in A4 size booklet) and the related
material such as poster, photos to the organizer before the presentation.
2. The operation of the robot should according to manual.
3. The program coding of robots should provide to KRON organizer in advance.
4. The manual should consist of:
a. Robot Name.
b. Purpose.
c. Team member introduction and task allocation.
d. Introduction of the project.
e. Specification and feature.
f. How to program (if needed).
g. Functionality of robot.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. All winner’s robot design copyright (3D design file, programming source code,
etc) are belong to the organizer.
2. Participants must have one robot manual and their robot must be able to
function.
3. Score shall consist of :

b. Creativity and Uniqueness
c. Robot Functionality
d. Team work
e. Presentation skill

4.6. Disqualificaton

1. Use the electronics part that are not authorized.

Game Method Mission completion and Time record

1.0. Description
IoT Games is a competition that applies the concept of the Internet of Thing, in which
all the data exchange that occurs during the competition between the robot with the
laptop (machine to machine) involves the Internet as a medium of data communication.

There will be 2 participants in each team who will work together to complete a mission,
which is to compose a blocks in accordance with the question. In addition, participants
are required to answer a question given by the jury for robots and laptops to connect into
a network that has been determined.

2.0. Objective
Participants are required to build a robot that supports the IoT concept, besides that
participants are challenged to simple programming skill to control the robot.
Furthermore, the robot must arrange several blocks become a word.

3.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. The size of the robot shall not exceed 25cm (length) x 25cm (width) for 1.5 kg weight.
2. There’s no height restriction and it may take any shape and size once the match
begin.

4.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Robot are suggested to use MRT 3 or MRTDuino mainboard.
2. Only maximum 2 number of DC motor, 1 number servo, 1 mainboard, 1 RFID Reader
and 1 D1 Mini Wemos.
3. Robot are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC, and battery type must
be AA / AAA / 6F22.
4. Robots shall not damage the arena deliberately.
5. Robots shall not throw liquid or powder or other subtances at the opponent.

5.0. Robot Control


1. Robot shall be remote controlled with any form of wireless control. Interference with
opponents control system is strictly prohibited. Participants should take the
necessary considerations of their own wireless remote control interferences if any.
Organizers will not be responsible for outside wireless interferences. No external
physical intervention is allowed.

6.0. Game rules


6.1. Length of a Match
1. Each game is stipulated for 5 minutes.
2. In the following cases, a match will end even before 5 minutes.
a. In the event of disqualification.

6.2. Building of Robot


1. Prebuilt and programmed.

6.3. Starting the Robot


1. Participant should answer several question on the website dashboard
2. Participant should control the robot movement to arrange several block become
a word.

6.4. Competition Tasks


1. All the game will be based on “Knock Out” system. All the team will be distributed
in opposing pairs by the jury randomly.
2. Participants have to programming D1 mini Wemos for connection settings to

3. Sending serial data via wemos to dashboard.
4. Each team will have 2 students and each student have different task.
a. Student A: Answer several question on the dashboard to enable the robot.
b. Student B: control their own robot.
5. Student A have to answer all given question, there are 1 question in every 1
minute. Total 5 question.
6. After that, student B must grab and bring the blocks to validate and place in
correct position.
7. When 1 minutes reached, there are new question, then student A should answer
and so on. While student A receive new question, student B is not allowed to
control the robot until student A click the submit answer button in the
dashboard. The status will be shown on green and red LED.
8. Each team will have 5 alphabet blocks.
9. Make sure the each alphabet is at the top of the blocks.
10. If the block position has change, the jury will fix it to the correct position. Then,
the robot must start at start area.
11. Each team can do any tactics or manuever their robot to grab and arrange the
blocks.
6.5. Deciding the Winner
1. Within 5 minutes, the team who succesfully arrange all the block and answer all
the question correctly will be the winner.
2. Each block placed correctly will gain 10 poin.
3. Each question answered correctly will gain 10 poin.

1.0. Objective
The contestant should to demonstrate people & robot that performs interesting tasks
for applications, such as in entertainment, domestic chores, industry etc.

2.0. Robot Dimension and Weight


1. There are no limitation on size dimension and weight as long as robot dimension does
not exceed with perform arena dimension.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. In the case where the contestants wish to employ radio control, they should inform
the secretariat in advance. Contestants should not broadcast radio signals while
another contestant's robot is performing.
2. Robots shall not cause any danger to the arena and surroundings in anyway
whatsoever.
3. Robots will need to protect their sensors if necessary from any outside interferences.

4.0. Robot Control


1. The competing robots, which can be self-navigating or remote-controlled, will
perform their capability on a 3m x 3m perform arena for a period of time.
2. The robots may move freely around the arena or be in a static position.
3. One AC power of 220/230V, 50/60 Hz supply will be provided. However, the teams
are to provide their own power adapter and extension means if it is required.

5.0. Game Rule


5.1. Length of a Perform
1. Total duration up to 8 minutes is allocated for setting up the robot and any
accessory equipment (3 minutes) and demonstration (5 minutes) of its
capability. The time duration will be measured from the moment the contestants
enter the arena. If more than 8 minutes elapsed, the robot must be removed
from the arena.

5.2. Building of Robot


1. In the case that a robot requires special accessory equipment or tools during its
performance, the participants should provide such items.
2. In the case that a robot performance is to be accompanied by music, the
contestants should provide the means to reproduce this music.
3. All perform contents should not contain “SARA” / pornography.
4. The designs of the competing robots must be original and unique. No two
identical designs are allowed in the competition.

5.3. Starting the Robot


1. The competing robots can start from any point in the contest arena.

5.4. Competition Tasks


1. Participants are required to submit a video clip or digital photographs (up to a
maximum of 30MB in total file size,) of their entry to the KRON committee 3 day
before competition.
2. Minimum duration of video clip is 3 minutes.
3. Maximum duration of video clip is 5 minutes.
4. The team who submit in digital photos format should showing robot in
performance sequence.

5.5. Deciding the Winner

Game Method Mission completion

1.0. Objective
The goal of this game is to test student ability to construct and control a robot to
transport the marine creature to a safer environment and to clean the oil barrel & oil
dump split in the ocean.

2.0. Robot Dimension and weight


The size of the robot at the starting box shall not exceed 25cm (H) by 25cm (W) by
25cm (L). Robot is allowed to expand to any size after the game starts.

3.0. Restriction on Robot Design


1. Only MRT & HUNA educational robot kit (not include My Robot Time Toy series and
MRT Soccer Robot) parts are to be used to build the robot. There is no limitation to
the amount of blocks used to build the robot. You are allowed to cross use the parts
from the above mentioned systems for the robots.
2. Only allow maximum 2 motors, 2 servos motor, 1 mainboard only.
3. Robots shall not damage any part of the field or obstacles deliberately.
4. Robots are not allowed to have any power supply above 9V DC (Volt of Direct Current)
VAC (Volt of Alternating Current) power supplies are strictly prohibited for safety
reasons.
5. Must not cause any danger to the arena.
6. RC Receiver will need to be protected from outside interference.

4.0. Game Rules


4.1. Length of a Match
1. Each game is stipulated for 3 minutes only.
2. In the following cases, a match will end before 3 minutes.
a. Completion of all tasks and stop at the start point.
b. In the event of disqualification.
c. Damages on the field blocks.
d. When the referees judge that continuation of the match is impossible.
4.2. Building of Robot
Pre-build and programmed robot.

4.3. Starting of Robot


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
2. Participants is allowed to start (switch on) the robot using single switch operation.
3. The participants who remote control the robot shall keep distance with the game
field area without touching or disturbing the game.

4.4. Completion Task


1. This is a mission completion game with maximum 3 minutes time.
2. Each team will have 2 students and each student needs to control their own
robot and complete their own missions in their own BASE area.
3. Robots will place at ”Base 1” & “Base 2” separately, and all missions must be
completed in sequence within the given time.
4. Once the match has begun, each robot can move to any direction in their own
area.
5. For robot at “Base 1” field:
Mission 1. The robot has to collect and sending all fish to the base 2 field;
Mission 2. And then collect all oil barrel and send to base 2 field;
Mission 3. After all fish and oil barrel have been cleared, the robot has to go
to sorbents storage area to get the sorbents and puts onto the oil
split areas (3 spot).
6. For robot at “Base 2” field:
Mission 1. The robot has to transport all the fish and put it into clean sea.
Mission 2. After that, robot has to transport the oil barrel into “Oil Barrel
Recycle Bin”.
7. Once all fish and oil barrel have been cleared, and get all sorbents put onto the
oil split areas (3 spots), the two robots has to go back to its Base areas and stop.
8. Timing will stop once all tasks are completed.
9. The parts which are fallen or broken from the robots cannot be fixed back onto
the robot during the match.
10. All robots will be collected by referees before the competition begin.

4.5. Deciding the Winner


1. The winner will be the team who has score the highest and if the team has same
points then the shortest time of completion will be the winner.
2. There are 3 tasks overall. (safe marine life and put into clean sea, collect oil barrel
and put into recycle bin, and ocean cleaning)

4.6. Points, Penalties and Disqualification


1. Points
a. Safely transport the fish to clean sea, 5 points are awarded.
b. Collect the oil barrel and put into recycle bin, 5 points will be awarded.
c. Place the sorbents onto the oil split area, 5 points will be awarded.
d. Completed task and back to base area, 10 points will be awarded.

2. Penalties
a. If the items are accident/purposely put into the wrong area for example
(putting marine creatures to the recycle bin or putting oil barrel into clean
sea) 10 points will be deducted strictly!
b. For Robot Base 1, Oil Barrel sent to Base 2 area before all fish has been cleared,
each barrel will be deducted 10 points.
c. For Robot Base 2, Oil Barrel sent into recycle bin before all fish has been cleared,
each barrel will be deducted 10 points.
d. No points awarded if the sorbents are not properly placed on the oil split area.

3. Disqualification
a. Touching the robot or the item in the arena while the match is in progress.
b. A stalemate of more than 10 seconds.
c. Robot does not comply with the size restriction.

2. The battery specification, maximum propellers diameter should strictly adhere to the
instruction manual.

3.0. Game Rules


3.1. Length of a Match
1. Programming, trial, and match session will be given for 3 hour.
a. Programming: 1 hours.
b. Trial and match: 2 hours.
c. When match session, each team have only 5 minutes to run their robot.

3.2. Starting the Drone


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
2. The participant shall keep a distance from the game field during the game.

3.3. Competition Task


1. Once the game started, the drone must go through the route of the game to
complete all the mission set.
2. Robot must STOP at the END POINT after finished all the missions for time
recording purpose.

4.0. Deciding the Winner


1. Robot reached the END POINT with highest marks will win the competition.
2. Total 8 Missions (air gate). Each Successfully completed mission will be awarded 20
points.
3. 10 point will be awarded in case an air gate or an obstacle that needs to be crossed is
not effectively crossed or touch the air gate.
4. The winner will be the participants who able to complete the task with highest score
in the shortest time.
5. If the score is the same for two participants, the shortest time will be the winner.

player would be IMMEDIATELY disqualified, If found guilty

4. Robot shall not cause any danger to the arena & surroundings in anyway whatsoever.
5. Robot will need to protect their sensors if necessary from outside interferences.
6. Robots RC receiver will need to be protected from any outside interferences.

1. Prebuilt and programmed.
2. The battery specification, length of robot leg and arm should strictly adhere to the
instruction manual.
3. The appearance of the humanoid can be modified by changing color and

4. The movement of the robot can be programmed freely.

3.3. Starting the Robot


1. Whistle will be blown as a sign of start of the match.
2. Participant is allowed to start (SWITCH ON) the robot using single switch
operation.
3. The participant shall keep a distance from the game field during the game.
4. The humanoid can be controlled using any Android phone under flight mode
except Aelos Humanoid robot.

3.5. Deciding the Winner


3.5.1. Line Core m
1. Robot reached the END POINT with highest marks will win the
competition.
2. Total 5 Missions:
• Mission 1 : Robot needs to crawl under obstacles placed on the passage.
Successfully completed mission will be awarded 20 points.

• Mission 2 : Robot needs to use hand to carry the props and cross the
red line to designated area. Successfully completed mission will be
awarded 20 points.
• Mission 3 : The robot needs to use a foot to kick the soccer ball(2 balls)
into the slot. The ball successfully enters into any slot will gain 10 points
each.

• Mission 4 : Robots need to cross above the obstacles placed in the


passage. Successfully completed mission will be awarded 20 points.

• Mission 5 : Robot can only walk through the two steps staircase (walk
up stairs – 5 points, walk down stairs – 5 points) and then walk through
the Z- type route to reach the end (10 points).
• If the participant unable to complete mission 2, 4, 5, Allow to reattempt
with referee approval. Maximum 2 attempts.
• Robot moves out of game field, referee is responsible to put it back in
the game field.
• If foul during the match, no points will be given even the robot stops at
the END POINT.
