Job Description
The Senior Manager HRIT will be based in Chennai . This person will lead the offshore HRIT team that is responsible
for providing Human Resources Technology solutions globally.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do
 Facilitating team development and process improvements.
 Leading communications between IT, Business Groups and other stakeholders.
 Systems Analysis and Design for new HR initiatives (including but not limited to partnering with HR
Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements, documenting processes/programs, configuring the
system, participating in data conversion, building proof of concept(s), troubleshooting, testing, resolving
system or process issues, implementing, and end user training.
 Manage application configuration for various areas of Human Resources programs and business
processes including but not limited to Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Compensation,
Benefits, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Leave Administration, and vendor interfaces or integrations.
 Partner with our HR business owner to define roadmaps, which will support various projects in this
rapidly changing business requirements.
 Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency. Cultivate and disseminate
knowledge of application-usage best practices.
 Lead business analysis and requirements gathering with ability to think outside the box and find or
recommend simple solutions to complex business problems.
 Identifying and monitoring potential risk and developing mitigation plans.
Here is some of what you will need (required)
 Solid knowledge in project management methodologies and best practices and/or substantial exposure
to project based work structures.
 Systems analysis, design and implementing HRIS or HRMS Applications.
 Proven track record with leading small, medium and large implementation and project teams to deliver
projects on time and within budget (Workday preferred)
 Proven track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects.
 Good understanding and working knowledge on methodologies like Agile or SDLC.
 Deep business process knowledge of workflow, workflow configuration and system relationships in the
area of Human Resources.
 Understanding of SOX policy and data privacy.
 Experience with creating functional design and integration specifications and working with technical
resources (preferably in offshore capacity).
 Ability to analyze business requirement and provide solutions.
 Knowledge of enterprise integrations using web services, SOA, XML, desirable
 Technical experience in design, development, and implementation of web based IT Applications.
 Business process knowledge of Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Compensation,
Payroll or Time Integration desirable.
 Experience with multinational features and requirements.
 Ability to efficiently prioritize and execute tasks in a diverse and extremely fast paced/high pressure
environment collaborating and building strong relationships with customers and team members. Keen
attention to detail.
 Results oriented individual with proven track record.
 Proven track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent tasks and projects.
 Strong background in best practices and quality assurance.
 Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to communicate ideas in both functional and
user friendly language.
 Highly self-motivated, disciplined and directed. Ability to work effectively with minimal direction
 Excellent analytical and problem resolving skills, with a predisposition for continuous learning and self
development.
 Ability to direct and manage within diverse peer and senior teams, some who may work remotely.
Experience working globally.
 Proven ability to identify and remove project obstacles or barrier on behalf of the team.
 Configuring business processes, security, integration or interfaces, and reports.
 Providing fit gap analysis, business process re-engineering, configuration, data conversion, application
integration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support.

Position SummaryThe Director, Employee Services APAC is responsible for the leadership,
management and direction of our APAC Employee Services organization. Serving as a strategic
thinker, thought leader and transformational architect, the individual will look to optimize our
existing HR Employee Services operational footprint in the region and contribute to future
design and growth. Additionally, there will be a major focus on improving the Employee,
Manager and HR experience, raising the level of employee engagement and overall ease of use
leading to increased employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate for this role will have
experience building and leading an HR shared services and payroll organization in a large,
multinational, heavily matrixed operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

 Contributes to the development of the Global Employee Services strategy,


implementing that strategy locally, while maintaining alignment with Corporate Global
Business Services (GBS) and Human Resources (HR) and local business objectives and
strategies.
 Delivers HR and Payroll services, procedures and processes that are value-added,
measurable, directly tied to business objectives and aimed at increasing employee
success and satisfaction.
 Sets challenging but realistic goals & objectives for self and staff, demonstrating urgency
in achieving these goals at a high standard of performance; is results-oriented and
drives for closure on projects and issue resolution.
 Works with leadership to proactively identify gaps in delivery and devises practical,
scalable solutions, negotiate service level objectives, and identifying opportunities for
additional service offerings.
 Systematically identifies opportunities for continuous process improvement and
proposes innovative solutions to operate in an efficient and cost effective manner.
 Promotes and markets the Employee Services offerings, driving case volume, adoption

Minimum RequirementsBachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or


other related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience required. Masters degree or
advanced education, training, and/or certification preferred.

Familiarity with Service Now and Workday is preferred.

Experience working in a multi-channel work-intake environment (Cases, E-mails, Phone and Live
Chat). Exposure to the application of Virtual Agents, Robotic Process Automation and other
emerging technologies a strong plus.
Working knowledge of multi-country, multi-vendor Payroll delivery a plus.

A minimum of 10 years’ relevant professional level shared service experience
