This document discusses learning and developmental theories. It contains a quote about rewarding correct answers but also encouraging incorrect answers to motivate students. The document then provides examples of how to apply behaviorism in the classroom, such as using reinforcement, avoiding punishment, clearly stating objectives, giving immediate feedback, breaking tasks into small steps, repeating directions, and being positive. It also discusses counting to refocus students and modeling kind behaviors. Finally, it mentions having students think about wrong behaviors as a way to manage behavior.

Name: Ghinwa Almerhebi ID: 91430154 «Rewards being correct but encourage when incorrect.“
This quote means two things:
(1)Teachers should reward the correct answer that would encourage the students to feel competent and apperciative of their own effort and to continue working hard and doing their best. This positive reinforcement will both reward the child who answered correctly, and may encourage other children to attempt to answer another question correctly. (2)Another point is that we should encourge the incorrect answer in order to get the right answer by motivating the students to try new approaches and because sometimes teachers ask questions not to get the right answers but to let the students try to answer and learn from their mistakes. How can we apply behaviorism in classroom? Under this theory teachers can:
●Use reinforcement to encourage students to do their
best work and encourage improvement ●Try to avoid punishment, unless absolutely
neccessary ●Have objectives and expectations clearly stated
●Give the learner immediate feedback
●Break down the task into small steps
●Repeat the directions as many times as possible
●Work from the most simple to the most complex tasks
● Always be positive and let the students know that
they can do it, and can do it well.
To better understand the relationship between behaviorism and classroom learning, I promote the following video Now, let's see some activities related to behavior mangement in the classroom Count to five or hold up one finger at a time when the class needs to refocus. Discuss what occurs for each number at the beginning of the school year and eventually the reaction will be automatic. The best way to promote kindness and caring behaviors in our classrooms is to model them. When we show our students what it looks like and sounds like to be kind, there is a far greater chance they will repeat those modeled behaviors. Here we can mange behavior by having the students think about what they have done wrong Thank you!
