EXERCISE 5 – GUIDE FOR DISCUSSION OF RESULTS

A. IT SHOULD BE HANDWRITTEN. Provide margins (1.0 inch all sides), and write in single space. (Note:
Reports should be readable and neat.)

B. You may use at most three letter-sized bond papers for the post-lab report. Staple sheets together and
submit with the accomplished pre-lab notebook.

C. The discussion should be in paragraph form. You should cite the pertinent table or figure from your pre-
lab notebook as you discuss the results. The discussion includes the description and interpretation of
results.

D. Always mention and explain if observed results differ from expected results.

E. The different paragraphs should be presented in such a way that the whole discussion is logical and
coherent.

F. List all references used that should include at least three published journal articles or books.

On your pre-lab notebook:


• Show computations of all partial rates and average rate for Table 5.2
• Show computations of all partial rates and average rate for Table 5.3
