Santiago-Yan, as Officer-in-charge (OIC)-Head of the Procuring Entity (HOPE), approved the 2017 Annual Procurement Plan (APP) of the Government Procurement Policy Board~Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO) upon favorable recommendation of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC); Wuters, Section 7 of the Republic Act (RA) No. 9184 mandates that no government procurement shall be undertaken unless it is in accordance with an approved APP consistent with the yearly budget and approved by the HOPE; WuEREAS, Section 7 likewise provides that the updating of the Project Procurement Management Plans (PPMPs) and the consolidated APP shall be undertaken every six (6) months or as often as may be required by the HOPE; WitereAs, the Capacity Development Division (CDD) submitted its memorandum dated 3 March 2017 (Annex “A”) and its Supplemental PPMP (Annex “B”) to reflect the changes in its procurement project “Training Rollout Seven (7) Batches;” Now, THEREFORE, We, the Members of the BAC, by virtue of the powers vested on Us by law, after due consideration of the UPDATED 2017 APP submitted by the BAC Secretariat, hereby RESOLVE to recommend to the HOPE for his consideration and approval the 15' UPDATE OF THE 2017 GPPB-TSO APP, attached as Annex “C” containing the aforementioned revision.
