 Laguna State Polytechnic University celebrate the Sports and Socio-Cultural

Festival with the theme “Shaping Socially Responsible Citizens Through Sports and

Culture”.

University President Mario R. Briones led his first Sports Socio-Cultural Festival

as he torched the opening ceremony together with the new Campus Director Engr.

Manuel Luis Alvarez.

 September 9, 2019 was the first day of the celebration and held the parade of

different colleges. The College of Hospitality Management and Tourism have the

representatives named Paul Alvarez and Keziah Gem Aquino of Tourism.

Sports and Socio-Cultural Festival have different activities like Volleyball,

Basketball, Singing Contest, Hip-Hop Dance Contest, Dance Sport and etc.
 On the 5th day of celebration, the newly crowned Mr. LSPU is Mr. Vince Andrei

Palero from College of Arts and Science and Ms. LSPU is Ms. Keziah Gem Aquino

from College of Hospitality Management and Tourism.

 Sports and Socio-Cultural Festival brings us enjoyment that all students

participate on different activities and events. This activity gives the students an

opportunity to play and participate they also show their talents in terms of singing and

dancing. This event enhances the skills and sportsmanship of each players.
