5. What resources need to be gathered?

What people, places, audio-visual materials, related literature, music, art, computer software, etc, will be available?

● Objects needed to feel their textures to get an understanding of the sense of touch.
● Different food to develop the sense of taste and the connection between taste and feelings, for example
salt, sugar, vinegar etc.
● Hot and cold beverages to understand the sense of touch.
● Fiction and non-fiction books containing information about different materials and their textures.
● Worksheets for understanding the relationship of senses to the corresponding body parts.

How will the classroom environment, local environment, and/or the community be used to facilitate the inquiry?

● A special place in each classroom will be set up to collect different types of food, materials, things which produce
sound and hot and cold beverages, to develop an understanding of our senses.
● Charts will be displayed in the classroom, including the information about senses and their corresponding body parts.
● An ongoing graffiti board will be available so that students can write their new findings whenever they want to.

● Music or things which produce sound will be played frequently so that students get familiar with the sounds and their effect on our feelings
