I met my friend when I was 13. His name was Marti.

We met on my first
day at a new school. He said, "You look nervous. Come and sit with me."
I said, "Thanks. I am nervous. Is Mrs. Roberts strict?" He said, "No, she's
nice. And her class is fun!" I said, "Oh, good." Then I was more relaxed.
After school, I played basketball with Marti. I was happy I had a new
friend.
