Jog-a-thon Picture Day This Friday is our school jog-a-thon. This Tuesday is Picture Day! Come in This is a fundraiser for our school, a fun dress code, including accessories. Pictures activity for the kids, and a great opportunity will be in the morning, you can order online to volunteer. Top classes get prizes, students or send the envelope to school on Tuesday. will get a shirt to keep track of laps on. Students can wear athletic clothing. Please make sure to let the office know if your child will be going home with someone different on this day. I’m looking forward to this fun school activity! Community Days Our first set of community days start next Friday. We will be making a map of Coburg, then going on walking tour around Coburg, and visiting the fire station. In science we will be looking at what 8:00-8:15 Welcome/Morning work could slow down freezing to use on the roads. In social studies we will be looking 8:15-9:45 Reading at map vocabulary and starting our 9:45-10:00 Recess compass rose. In writing we will continue planning our narratives and start writing. 10:00-10:15 Read aloud In reading we will look at folktales, focusing 10:15-11:25 Math on vocabulary and questions. In math we will be doing count by’s with 9’s, looking at 11:25-12:05 Recess/Lunch multiplication and division fluency with 2’s, 12:05-12:25 Chromebooks 5’s, 9’s, and 10’s, then looking at count by’s with 3’s. 12:25-1:10 Writing 1:10-1:50 P.E. 1:50-2:20 Music/Character/Library 2:20-3:15 Science/Social studies Reminders to Students
