Projection of Lines - HW-1
Projection of Lines - HW-1
2. A line PQ has its end P 15 mm above HP and 10 mm infront of VP. The end Q is 55 mm
above HP and the line is inclined at 30 deg to HP. The distance between end projectors of
the line when measured parallel to the line of intersection of HP and VP is 50 mm. Draw
the projections of the line and find its inclination with VP.
3. The front view of a line 90 mm long is inclined at 45 deg to the XY line, a’b’ being 65
mm long a’ is 15 mm above XY line. The point A is in VP. Draw the projections of the
line and find its inclinations with HP and VP.
4. The distance between the end projectors passing through the end points of a line AB is 40
mm. The end A is 20 mm above HP and 15 mm infront of VP. The end B is 45 mm
infront of VP. The line AB appears as 65 mm long in the front view. Complete the
projections. Find the true length of the line and its inclination with HP and VP.
5. A line AB, 90 mm long, is inclined at 45 deg to the HP and its top view makes an angle
of 60 deg with the VP. The end A is in the HP and 12 mm infront of the VP. Draw its
front view and find its true inclinations with VP
