     August 8, 2019 - Dengue Awareness conducted at Union Elementary School

    during their General Assembly which was attended by the school head,
    teachers, parents, and PTA officers. Comprehensive and in depth discussion
    regarding the disease was given by the Municipal Sanitary Inspector, Mr.
    Erwin C. Bico. Breeding sites of dengue mosquitos and 4s was well
    emphasized to all the attendees. The speaker encouraged the audience to
    ask questions about the disease. During the event, we also announced
    about the mobilization of all barangays where each barangays will be
    conducting search and destroy activity and also advised about the 4 0’clock
    habit.
     AUGUST 13, 2019 - Conducted Barangay Healthboard which was attended
    by the Rural Health Midwife, BHWs, BNS, Barangay Captain and Barangay
    Council. Discussed about the health status of the barangay and emphasized
    discussion about Dengue, its definition, breeding sites, preventions, put
    emphasis on 4s activities and the 4 O’clock habit. We prepared an action
    plan for the barangay which include plans in preventing Dengue where the
    council have decided to form a task force specified for Dengue and will
    conduct search and destroy activity every Friday. The task force will start
    the said activity this coming Friday, August 16, 2019.
