In connection to the visit of the Commission on Higher Education representatives this

March 19, 2019 re: CHED-NCCA SALIKHA Project titled, “Traditional House Construction,
Methods, Practices, and Beliefs of the Indigenous People (IPs) of Cagayan”, we would like to
seek your approval to adhere to the work plan/ itinerary of the group.

The target date for our data gathering will be on February 19-22, 2019 in the
municipalities of Enrile, Abulug and Rizal in the province of Cagayan. At the onset, we will be
paying courtesy to the municipal mayor through the assistance of the National Commission on
Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) staff, our partners who will likewise assist us for the approval of the
community leaders in the ocular inspection of existing traditional houses and initial immersion
activities.
