A Narrative Report on the Induction and Oath Taking Ceremonies

S.Y. 2019-2020

The Supreme Student Government of Maligaya High School conducted an Induction and
oath taking ceremony on 23rd of August 2019, held at Maligaya High School gymnasium together
with the accredited organizations in the school. It was started by the national anthem by a Grade
10 student and also the president of Math Club Ms. Chardlene Sherene V. Millo followed by an
opening prayer of a grade 9 student and also the president of the Yes-O Mr. Mark G. Pangilinan.
The official opening program was started by an introductory speech given by Mr. Nestor A.
Gumbaolibot Officer-in-Charge/ Head Teacher VI, who delivered and spoke a very enlightening
talks not just on how to become a good leader but tackles on how to start leading through self-
discipline and self-sufficiency and it was followed by a fruitful message from Hon. Virgilio SM.
Balingit Barangay Chairman of Maligaya and Hon. Manolito DC. Yambot Barangay Councilor/
Chairman, Committee on Education, and also a message from the President of SSG , who calls
for a challenge to her co-student leaders to become effective and to stand on their duties as
being more active in the school activities.

Then it was followed by an oath taking of newly elected officers, of FEA and PTA officers
and the rest of the school’s organizations and club officer lead by Mr. Nestor A. Gumbaolibot
Officer-in-Charge/ Head Teacher VI. After that Mr. Narciso N. San Juan the elected President of
the PTA S.Y. 2019-2020 delivered and spoke leadership message which he strongly believes and
wanted to implant to the young minds of the student and also his co-members of the PTA to be
more responsible to stand on their duties. The Awarding of the Certificates were given by Mr.
Nestor A. Gumbaolibot Officer-in-Charge/ Head Teacher VI. After the said ceremony a closing
remarks were given by Mrs. Miriam RA. Dela Cruz president, Faculty and Employees
Association.

Indeed, the event was a success for all the student leaders, PTA, FEA whom solemnly
pledge that on that day begins the challenge of being a good leader from a small group of
organization to a bigger involvement in the society in the near future will be possible by starting
to practice a better leadership characteristic from one self.
