The unveiling of one of the most awaited tournament of our college “V-
Emperors” was organized by the “Sports Council” of “Vidyalankar Institute
of Technology” on 23rd of September 2019. This was the first sports event
organized by the Sports Council of 2019-20. The unveiling of the event
was started with the slogan “Awaaz konacha? – Sports Council cha”. There
were numerous amount of students to witness the program.

V-Emperors consists of various sports matches such as Rink football,

Volleyball, Dodgeball, Carrom, Chess and it includes an Intra Debate
competition. All the classes starting from FE to BE participates in this event
to represent their class. Each and every individual fights for the glory and
honour of their own class and for the most important titles.

It’s an event where we witness a lot of nail biting moments, major turns
and twist, but in those moments we also get to witness the true team spirit
and sportsmanship, where each and every individual tries to give his or
her best performance. The event consists separate as well as combined
matches for both girls and boys.

The Sports council Convener Prof. Dattatray Bade and Co-Convener Prof.
Prathamesh Mestry were also present for the unveiling of V-Emperors.
They also inaugurated the event by hosting the red flag. The event was
organized in a spectacular fashion and all the hard work of the sports head
was paid off as it ended up being a huge success. It was concluded at 5:30
pm.
