I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
a. Identify the different welding defects, problems and remedies.
b. Value the importance of the different welding defects, problems and remedies.
c. Perform the procedures in locating the different welding defects, problems and remedies.
B.1 MOTIVATION
Process questions will be asked.
B.2 ACTIVITY
Let the students weld their base metal and after welding the teacher will check for defects.
The teacher will discuss the topic.
B.3 ANALYSIS
1. What are the different welding defects?
2. What are the procedures to perform in locating welding defects?
3. How to determine the welding defects?

1. Can you give the different welding defects?
2. Can you do the procedures on how to perform in locating welding defects?

IV. EVALUATION
Interview each student about the welding defects and what are the remedies they for
acceptable weld.
